From 12pm-8pm on the field just up from the beach, we will have some excellent live rock bands, a walkabout magician, circus performers, circus/aerial/silks workshops, a fun fair, bubble football, 10 delicious food stalls, a cocktail/mocktail bar, main bar, a fire performance in the evening from the brilliant Yasmin Chadwick, local business stalls and more!

Doors will open at 10am and the first band will be on at 12pm.

In between bands you will be entertained for free with our amazing magician Darren Cullen. The fantastic Jessica Hill from Showtime Circus will be there throughout the day offering free amazing circus skills workshops with aerial hoop, tightrope walking, stilts and silks!

The fun doesn’t stop there! We will have some amazing fun fair rides for the little ones from £2 per go. Our parent company Vibrant Events will be hosting bubble football for kids and adults aged 10 years and up (£5 for 15 minutes).

If you don’t want the hassle of driving so you can enjoy a responsible drink, we will be arranging a shuttle bus from Broadstairs train station to the festival for just £2 (plus £1 booking fee) per person for a return journey. The price is the same for children and adults but babies go free. Everyone will need a ticket. Busses will run every 30 minutes from 9.30am-2pm then from 5pm-9.30pm. Bus tickets are pre book only.

Due to the increasing popularity of the Kids Rock Festival free on site car parking spaces are limited to 700 spaces. Only one car parking space per family will be available and only available to festival ticket holders. If you wish to make use of the free on site car park, enter discount code: FreeParking2021 on the ticket platform. Please then show your car parking ticket and festival ticket to the parking stewards once you arrive. If you do not have both of these on you, you will not be able to use the free car park. Free on site car park tickets are pre book only.

We will ensure the event is Covid safe. Everyone will need to show proof of a negative Covid test, hand sanitiser will be readily available and we are only going to reach half capacity (5,000) so there is plenty of room if you would still like to social distance. We will be operating a cashless system, where you will be able to pay for everything with your wristband. Smoking will only be allowed in the designated smoking area. Cleaners will be ensuring the festival is clean at all times. We will be keeping up to date on the latest government announcements and following the latest guidelines.
